ORTAÖĞRETİMDE SANAT TARİHİ EĞİTİMİ-ÖĞRETİMİ ÜZERİNE BİR DEĞERLENDİRME

Sanat, insanların varoluşundan itibaren başlamış olan kabiliyetlerinin ve imgeleme gücünün resim, heykel, mimari, müzik, edebiyat ve tiyatro gibi etkinlikleri ile bilinmektedir. Bu gelişim içerisinde sanatın tarihsel gelişimini inceleyen, bilim dallarından biri de Sanat Tarihi’dir. Bu bilim dalı disiplinin amacı geçmiş dönemlere ait objelerin, tarihi, dini, kültürel ve coğrafi etkilerini öğrenmeye ve anlamaya çalışmaktır. Böylelikle geçmiş dönemlere ayna tutarak, elimizdeki bilgiler çerçevesinde bugünümüze katkıda bulunmuş oluruz. Ülkemizde, Sanat Tarihi eğitim ve öğretimi yetersiz olsa da var olmaya çalışan disiplinlerden biri olarak ön planda yer almaktadır. 1957’de diğer derslerden ayrı olarak başlamış olan Sanat Tarihi eğitimi, içerisinde soru ve sorunların yer aldığı şekli ile irdelenmelidir. Sanat Tarihi eğitimi, kişinin kendi kültürü ve dünyadaki kültür mirası hakkında bilgi ve inceleme yapması, öğrencinin sanatı değerli görmesi ve anlamasının yanı sıra farklı sanat çevrelerine de hoşgörü ile bakmasını sağlamaktadır. Sanat Tarihi eğitiminde en önemli hedef, belirli kültürlere ve dönemlere ait sanatsal eserlerin önemini tarihsel perspektif ile öğrencilere iletmektir. Bu çerçevede Sanat Tarihi öğretmeninin işi, öğrencilerin sanat yapıtı ve yapıtın toplum içindeki önemini, yerini fark etmelerini sağlamaktır. Bu araştırma makalemizde; Sanat Tarihi eğitiminin ortaöğretimdeki yerinin dünü ve bugününün nasıl olduğu, bu alanda Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı’nın ne tür çalışmalar yapmayı planladığı üzerinde durulmaya çalışılmıştır.

Art is known for its activities such as architecture, painting, sculpture, theatre, music and literature of the powers and imagination that started from the existence of people. One of the branches of science that examines the development of art in this development is Art History. With this discipline, we try to grow and understand within the framework of historical, religious, cultural and ministries relations with artifacts and objects belonging to past periods. In addition, the framework of the information in the reports has been included in the present by mirroring the previous periods. Traditionally, Art History is at the forefront as one of the disciplines trying to exist, even though its education and training is insufficient. In Art History education, which started as an independent course in 1957, the question and the output should be examined as they are. Art History education not only provides knowledge and analysis of one's culture and combined cultural heritage, the appreciation and understanding of the student's art, but also a tolerance towards different art circles. The most important goal in Art History education is to distribute the publications of certain cultures and periods at regular intervals. In this context, the job of an Art History instructor is to make them realize the world's art structure and its prevalence and place in its society. In this research article; It is allowed to focus on the place of Art History education in secondary education and how it is today, by planning what kind of studies the Ministry of National Education will carry out in this field.
