Publishing Policy

Journal of Arteoloji is the publishing languages of Turkish, English and Italian. Original and theoretical research, surveying, compilation, book introduction and translated articles are presented. It is expected for an academic study to include new findings and information. While it is essential to publish articles with theoretical aspects and that contribute to literature in Archaeology, Art History, Museology, Mythology, Cultural Heritage, History of Architecture, Conservation and Restoration and Fine Arts fields and the articles serving this aim will be published. Plagiarism similarity report will be obtained for the submitted articles before the referee review process starts. Articles with a similarity report of more than 15% will be returned, and editing will be requested if necessary.

Due to the open-access policy, the articles published can be accessed freely, read, downloaded, copied, distributed, scanned, linked to full text, indexed, and transferred as data for software without any financial, legal, or technical limitations.

Neither the editors nor the editorial board are responsible for the views of the authors or the content of the published article. Authenticity, readability of the articles, and errors are the authors’ responsibility. All articles submitted to Journal of Arteoloji for review and publication are subjected to double-blind review in terms of authenticity, ethical issues, and useful contributions. Referees' decisions are the only tools for publication and are final.

All articles can be downloaded free of charge for personal, educational and scientific purposes (Creative Commons license CC BY-NC). This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

According to the decision of the Advisory Board, no fee is requested from the authors. Authors are deemed to have agreed to transfer the royalty-free publication rights of their works to Arteoloji Journal with the publication right transfer form they have signed. The articles are preserved by the internet archive.
